Most days in the Rosario Islands unfold slowly.
But there’s a moment — late in the afternoon — when everything shifts.
The light softens.
The wind calms.
And the islands start to feel even more remote.
That’s the moment this experience is built around.
A simple plan, done properly
This is not a long day out at sea.
It’s a short, well-timed escape designed to explore what surrounds Isla Grande — without rushing.
We usually leave around 3:00 PM, when the heat begins to drop and the water settles.
From there, the route stays flexible.
Moving around the island
The experience begins with a relaxed cruise around Isla Grande.
Along the way, you’ll pass:
• quiet stretches of coastline
• small hidden beaches
• mangrove areas
• open water with shifting colors
There’s no fixed path. If the water looks good somewhere, we stop.
Time in the water
At some point during the route, we usually slow down and drop anchor.
You can:
• jump in for a swim
• go for a short snorkeling session
• or simply stay on board and enjoy the surroundings
No pressure to do anything — just time to be in the water.
The final stop: Isla Rosario
Toward the end of the route, we head to a small, more remote island at the edge of the archipelago.
Isla Rosario.
There’s nothing built there.
No beach clubs.
No infrastructure.
Just vegetation, sand, and open sea.
It’s part of a protected area, and we approach it carefully — keeping the experience light and respectful of the environment.
Everything we bring, we take back.
Sunset, uninterrupted
This is where the day slows down completely.
The boat stays nearby while you step onto the island or remain onboard — whichever feels right.
As the sun begins to drop:
• the light turns warmer
• the water flattens
• everything goes quiet
It’s a simple moment, but usually the one people remember most.

The way back
After sunset, we head back toward Casa Rosario.
By the time you arrive, the light is gone, the air is cooler, and the house feels different again.
It’s an easy transition into the evening — dinner, music, and a slower pace after being out on the water.
